Mirage D'Amore

Inspired by a poem

I had placed two coins on the rock overlooking the sea,

distant myths,

ancient promises of release.

nothing had helped,

nothing was owed to me,

no debt remaining.

local waters sway, a mirage of love, drawing me back.

Avevo messo due monete sulla roccia che dava sul mare,
niente era servito, nulla mi era dovuto, miti lontani, acque
nostrane, miraggio d’amore, condizioni di resistenza, misura
d’urgenza.
